Due to my very busy (but not so eventful to write about) schedule, I didn’t really have interesting content to share on my blog. But still, I felt the urge to connect and keep writing/ sharing. So I was looking back at my mood board that I made a couple of months ago at the start of my blog page. And I was thinking back about all my passions and inspirations that drove me to start this blog.
For a couple of weeks, I started to feel disconnected from all this. I felt lost in my creative flow and didn’t feel the energy to start new projects/ blogs or videos. This new period of time with working almost fulltime had drained me out of all my creativity and I felt empty… But now I slowly see the colours and beauty again of the world. What inspires me to take my life back in own hands and to do the things I love once again! I feel my energy rising again to practise more with my choir and start writing blogs again.
It may take a while before I feel like my old self again and make videos or bigger blogs again. But HEY! this is a start. 🙂
So for this blog, I will be writing about one of my biggest passions and that is Music! I started singing when I was very young and started taking classes. I am learning myself how to play the piano and guitar. And now I’m in an amazing ambitious choir.
As you may know from my previous blogs, I am a huge fan of Demi Lovato!
And I am also a big fan of indie/folk/pop music playlists like from Alexrainbird Music:
Every month there is a new beautiful playlist of indie/folk/pop or indie/rock/alternative on the youtube channel and Spotify account of Alexrainbird: https://www.alexrainbirdmusic.com
I absolute love channels like this one. It helps me to discover new music and it is easy to put it on while I am work or just with friends when I need some background music. Even now while I am writing this blog, I am listening to one of the indie/folk/pop playlists.
The other thing that I love is to listen to the soundtracks of movies, TV-shows or games.
I fell in love with the soundtracks of ‘Ori and the Blind Forest’ and ‘Child of Light’ while I was playing these games.
With the movie soundtracks, I have a whole list… 🙂 Of course, I am a huge fan of Hans Zimmer and James Horner. My favourite movie soundtracks are of: ‘Narnia, Lord of the Rings/ Hobbit, Harry Potter, Theory of Everything, A Beautiful Mind, Chocolate, Braveheart, How to Train Your Dragon, Avatar, La La Land, The Greatest Showman, Moulin Rouge and many, many more.’ 😀
There is also a Spotify playlist with reading soundtracks what helps me to concentrate or to relax. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/37i9dQZF1DWZwtERXCS82H
I know of myself that I am a huge dreamer! So while I am listening to beautiful, ambient or epic music/ soundtracks, I love to create whole worlds and stories in my mind with the music that I am listening to. While listening to music like these, I can feel the full rush of adrenaline and emotions through my whole body. It is one of those things/ moments what makes me feel alive! 😛
When I was younger, I wanted to become a music video director or a narrative/ story designer. But I let this dream pass over while growing up. XD It feels weird to write this down because for years and years it was sort of my own secret that wouldn’t tell anybody.
Okay, so that’s it for now.
Thank you for reading my blog!
